Kunena Forum is an extremely popular (200,000+ installs) forum component for Joomla, one of the most popular CMS in the world. Tapatalk support would be great! I can easily provide access to a Joomla/Kunena installation for development if anyone would be prepared to have a go? http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/communication/forum/7256 Many thanks.
I've just switched from phpBB3 to Kunena for the upcoming re-release of my site, mainly for the Joomla integration benefits. I have several users currently using Tapatalk from my phpBB installation. It would be great if Kunena became an officially supported platform. Thanks.
Hello, We have released the Tapatalk API for any interested party to develop app and server-side plugin. There is not immediate plan to develop it in house but we can provide necessary support to get it developed by third party developers.
Was wondering this to, our site concists of a kunena forum and a handfull of articles... being able to use tapatalk on the "go" would be a huge improvement to the forum!
We will eventually support this forum when the resource is free up, meanwhile you may want to find third party developers, I once read someone is actually developing the plugin for Kunena.
I would think this would be something the Tapatalk folks would be interested in assisting more proactively. Kunena is the number one forum for the largest community CMS system, and has hundreds of thousands of users. My site has been up since January, has 600+ members and is growing at the rate of about 120+ per month with no signs of slowing down. You'd better believe I would be advertising Tapatalk ALL OVER my site if it were available for Kunena, and my users would LOVE it! Come on Tapatalk, there is some dough in this for you guys. Kunena is a GNU/GPL product, they don't really stand to gain much, but you guys do! I'd be willing to pitch in a little dough to support development as well, and I am sure many site admins here would as well.
