I would like to see something akin to the favorites function in tapatalk, but that involves a shortcut on the home screen. I have an ESPN icon on my home screen, but it is really just an icon a created from inside safari, but I use it a lot.

Most of our users at talk.collegeconfidential.com don't really use any of the other forums currently on the network. I know that you want users going through tapatalk on the off chance that they would browse through other forums. At the same time, users who only access college confidential would just be using the same finger-strokes again and again to access when they could just have an icon shortcut. I am not suggesting completely removing the tapatalk icon, but the ability to create more shortcuts to individual forums would make the user-experience much better. We would certainly be more apt to advertise tapatalk, were this feature available.

    Hi,

Unfortunately this function Apple reserved only for Safari shortcut. :-(

The next iPhone app release will have the ability to display the Favorite screen instead of loading the Network, which should solve half of your problem.

So the favorites screen would load on startup, and if they only had one forum favorited, it would be the only one listed?

I just signed up for this, but I'll second this request. I hesitate recommending my members sign up for this app unless they can put a direct link to the forum on their home page.

You are asking for something that Apple will not allow. If Apple doesn't allow it, the app doesn't get approved. If Apple allows it, then the dev will do what they can for it's customers.

Winter has stated that in a future version, the app will load the users favorite forums of the Tapatalk network. If they could put a customizable shortcut straight to a specific forum, they would, but they can't.
