Hi All. Im interested in this product for a board I administer. However, my members arent too keen on the idea of registering the board with taptalk. To be honest, its a deal breaker in most of their minds. Can someone please explain why this is needed? Does the Iphone app talk directly with the board site? or does it go through Tapatalks servers? Does the content of the board flow through tapatalks servers ever? Can the iphone app be used on a board if it is NOT registered? Is the registration simply a way to keep track of who is using what? Thanks for the answers!
Hi soontobe, The registration is meant to provide your member a seamless way to access your server, no content is routed from our server including password etc. This is also necessary as we are rolling out the push notification from technical perspective. If your forum doesn't like to be seen on the directory, you can simple set it as "Search Only" so no one without knowing your forum name, can find it.
