It would be nice if the category listing was instead laid out with the Categories as the sub-title iPhone element... so the label that says "Tapatalk Community" would instead be "The Front Desk", then the actual forums shown under that... then the next category, with the it's forums, etc.
We thought about that and has already implemented it before, the trouble is if it is a big board with complex forum structure, the list will be very long in one screen and in fact slower to navigate to the actual forum.
True, although couldn't you make it a server-side setting that could default to the current setting? Then if a forum wanted it to display the other way they could set it as such?
It is not so much about the server-side, we can possibly add a section in iPhone as a matter of personal preferences?
I was thinking about this a little more... I definitely think it would be a good idea. The way it is now, you can't get to any forum from that screen in a single click.
